Stephen Powers wrote graffiti, authored The Art Of Getting Over and First & Fifteenth: Pop Art Short Stories, was a co-proprietor of “The Indelible Market”/“Street Market,“ designed a plastic sneaker that indicted consumer and corporation alike, contributed illustrations to The New Yorker, created raincoats for people he admired and flyer passers on Canal Street, founded the Dreamland Artist Club and invited over 40 artists to paint signs in Coney Island and is currently making paintings. He is writing a novel in fits and starts. He lives in Manhattan.
