Judith Schaechter at Silicon Gallery - Friday May 2nd
Silicon Gallery is pleased to announce an exhibit featuring a portfolio of prints by esteemed Philadelphia artist Judith Schaechter. The portfolio of 10 recent prints is published and printed by Silicon Gallery Fine Art Prints. The exhibit opens May 2, 2008 with a First Friday reception from 6 - 8:30pm and runs through May 31, 2008.

Too Black For BET book release - tomorrow night!
Tomorrow night marks the book release party for Jayson Musson's 'Too Black for BET', published by Free News Projects. The event runs 6-10pm at the Mad Decent Mausoleum, 12th and Spring Garden. This is a free and, we anticipate, very fun event. Good-time-guy and local hero Spankrock will also be touching mic on the night. Musson's book will be available at the gallery, alongside limited copies of the complete 'Black Like Me', a compendium of Musson's strange foray into the world of weekly free newspaper columnism.
